Service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday at Mayes Ward-Dobbins Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Rev. Pete Paulsen officiating. Interment will be in Happy Valley Missionary Church Cemetery, Happy Valley, TN. Mr. Whitehead was born in Happy Valley, TN. He came to Marietta in the fall of 1975. Mr. Whitehead attended Marietta High School and Kennesaw State University. His most recent venture was with the 688 restaurant and bar on Whitlock Ave. in Marietta. Mr. Whitehead is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hayes Whitehead of Marietta; two daughters, Nancy Whitehead of Atlanta, Amber Whitehead of Marietta; one son, Trenton D. Whitehead of Marietta; his mother, Dorothy Whitehead of Happy Valley, TN; one brother, Tom Whitehead and his wife Cathy of Happy Valley, TN; several nieces and nephews.
