WHITEHEAD, Ben age 89 of Tallassee, TN passed away Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. He was a member of Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church. Preceded in death by his wife, Ethel; father and mother, Jeff and Sinda Whitehead; brothers, Clayton and Arthur Whitehead; sister, Pearl Riden.
Survived by: sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Marge Whitehead, Mack and Becky Whitehead; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Charles Huskey; grandsons and wives, Randy and Kristen Huskey, Matthew and Courtney Whitehead, granddaughter and husband, Susan and Steve Vinsant; grandsons, Andre and Anthony Whitehead; great grandchildren, Hannah and Heather Huskey, Kelsey Vinsant, Hannah Whitehead, and Braxton Whitehead; brothers, Archie and Grady Whitehead; sister, Ruth Payne, Special nephew and wife, John and Sharon Whitehead.
Funeral services will be 8:00pm Monday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Chapel with Rev. Rex Everett, Rev. Beecher Whitehead, and Rev. Charles Huskey officiating. Family and friends will meet 11:00am Tuesday at Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment. The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00pm at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Happy Valley Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at Colonial Hills Nursing Center.
