He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Vogel grandfathers, Lyle Vogel, Sr. and Walter Irwin father-in-law and mother-in-law, David and Anna Rhea Shelton. Survivors include: wife, Christy Shelton Carroll children, Lauren Ann Carroll and Tiffany Dawn Carroll mother, Charlotte Irwin Vogel grandmothers, Lola Irwin Russell and Calverna Vogel sisters, Donna Vogel and husband Lyle, Christy Wise and husband Steve, Shawn Vogel and Marie Vogel brothers, Matt Vogel and Alan Vogel several uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins brother-in-law, Rick Shelton sister-in-law, Pat Shropshire and husband Alan. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Tim Shoulders officiating. The interment will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Sherwood Memorial Gardens.
