TEFFETELLER, Ray G., age 79 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2006. He was a member of Forest Hill Baptist Church, was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army, was a member of New Providence Lodge #128, a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner. He retired from Charles West Chevrolet after 38 years of service and was a member of the General Motors Legion of Honor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Teffeteller; daughter, Martha Birchfield; parents, Luther M. And Martha LeQuire Teffeteller; brothers, Luther, Clyde, Troy and Don Teffeteller; sister, Betty Payne.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Debbie Teffeteller of Maryville, Marion and Charlene Teffeteller of Greenback; grandchildren, Steve Birchfield of Greenback, Lori Scott and husband David of Maryville, Kelly Teffeteller of Knoxville, Charles Teffeteller of Greenback; great grandchild, Cole Birchfield; step grandchildren, Alex, Bear and Andrea Plemons; sisters, Trula Eldridge of IL, Alice Millsaps and husband Elmer of Lenoir City, Frances Hill and husband Chamles of Maryville; brother-in-law, D. C. Payne of Maryville; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Dewayne Birchfield, Sonny McClanahan.
Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Saturday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Harry Sherrer and Rev. Darrell Millsaps officiating. Family and friends will meet at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Forest Hill Cemetery for the interment service.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. Saturday at McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home, Maryville.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Forest Hill Baptist Church Building Fund, 1850 Forest Hill Road, Maryville, TN 37803.
