September 24, 1946 - December 17, 2016 Bertie Mae Green, age 70, of Pigeon Forge, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2016. She was always one to speak her mind and to tell you the truth which made her your go-to person for advice and help. She was a confidant to many and a friend to everyone. She always had a song for every occasion and had a Christian juke box in her head that she was always willing to share with everyone. Bertie to some, Mom to many, but Mamaw to most! She was the youngest and sole surviving daughter to Herbert Floyd Reynolds and Archie Willie Mae Parks of Knoxville. Preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca Marie McCarty. She is survived by her sons, Frankie Lee Coburn of Sevierville, Kenneth Earl (Faith) Coburn of Etowah, son-in-law, Charles Wayne McCarty of Sevierville; daughters, Annette Christine Arwood of Sevierville, Juretta Renee (Jim) Ryan of Florida, Bobby Ray (Kathy) Green of Knoxville, and Brenda Faye Whidden of Pigeon Forge; many foster children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a wonderful church family, extended family, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bertie was loved by many and will be missed by all. A celebration of life will be held at the Community First Church of God at 131 Palatte Lane, Seymour, TN 37865 on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 6:00 pm.
