Quenton Arnold Kerr, 82, of Edgerton, MO, passed away, Thursday, October 28, 2010 at the Veterans Home in Cameron.
He served in the U.S. Army in Panama during WWII and in Korea during the Korean War.
He was Lead Mechanic for Trans World Airlines and retired in 1985 after 35 years. The last of those fifteen years he served the membership with integrity and dedication as President/General Chairman of District 142 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union.
He survived is survived by his wife, Joyce of the home; sons, Kevin Kerr and wife, Kim (the fourth of cherished “Daughters“), Brownsburg, IN, and Mike Kerr, Liberty, MO; daughters, Cathy Oasheim and husband, Grant, Aurora, CO, Diana Scharer, Chandler, AZ, Debby Henry and husband, Patrick, Winter Springs, FL; six grandsons, Ryan Sobotka, Kaleb Kerr, Dane Hart, Derrick Sobotka, Jeffrey and William Henry; three granddaughters, Heidi Archer and husband, Ben, Christina Hart, and Kimsey Kerr; two great-grandchildren; Emily and Sean Archer; sister, Lillian Gamble, Maryville, TN; brothers, Venton Kerr and wife, ImaJean, Fayetteville, NC, Carl Kerr, Platte City, MO; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services: 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 1st the Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Edgerton.
Burial with Military Honors: Ridgely Cemetery
Visitation: 5:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.
In lieu of flowers family suggests memorials be made to the Veterans Assistance Fund, Three Rivers Hospice, or the church.
