LLEWELLYN, CHARLOTTE KING - age 69 of Seymour passed away Sunday, April 20, 2008 at UT Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She attended Seymour Baptist Tabernacle. She was an employee of Sam's Club for over 18 years. Mrs. Llewellyn enjoyed spending time with her family, watching Nascar and doing word searches. She is preceded in death by: her parents, Glenn & Priscilla King; granddaughter, Amy Lane Dunaway; two sisters, Virginia Collier & Juanita Borden. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, J.H. Llewellyn, Sr; three children, Joseph H. Llewellyn, Jr. and wife Frances, Joyce Lane and husband David, Michelle Bumby and husband Norman; four grandchildren, Kelly Atkins, Carrie Roe, Scott Bumby, Chad Bumby; six great grandchildren, Brooke, Bryttni, Alexis, Katelyn, Desiree, Max; four sisters, Margaret Ward, Bonnie Davies and husband Bill, Kay Roberts, Debbie Wysong and husband Frank; two brothers, Ralph King, Mike King and wife, Fran. Visitation will be held at Highland South Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel at 8:00 p.m. with Pastor Carl Gibson officiating. Graveside services will be held in Highland South Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet in the cemetery at 2:45 p.m. The family would like to express a special thanks to the Physicians, Nurses and Staff of UT Medical Center's 9th floor for the love and care that they provided during Charlotte's illness. Highland South Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Charlotte King Llewellyn.
