LYLE, LEON G., age 88, of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, February 29, 2012. Retired from East Tennessee Trucks. Member of VFW. Veteran of U.S. Army in World War II. Preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Addie Lyle and 6 brothers. Survived by wife of 64 years, Mildred J. Lyle; daughters, Regina Moore and husband, Don, Gayla D. Vargas, Leisha Pemberton and husband, John; 4 grandchildren, Katrina (Scott) Reiling, Jeremy Moore, Joshua (Stacy) Reynolds, Micah Reynolds; 4 great-grandchildren, Jordan Reiling, Addison Reiling, Jacob Moore, Landon Reynolds; aunt, Vera Bee; several nieces and nephews and cousins. The family will receive friends 5-7 P.M. Saturday with a chapel service to follow at 7 P.M. with Rev. Maston Jackson and Pastor Larry Noe officiating. Family and friends will meet at Lynnhurst Cemetery for entombment at 2 P.M. Sunday. Pallbearers will be Joshua Reynolds, Micah Reynolds, Jeremy Moore, Don Moore, John Pemberton, Scott Reiling.
