Mrs. Hazel Juanita Ogle Edinger , age 81, of 505 Parkertown Heights Road, Lavonia, passed away Wednesday evening, March 24, 2004 at Emory University Medical Center in Decatur. A Fulton County native, Mrs. Edinger was born April 1, 1922, a daughter of the late Ashley Garfield and Elizabeth Marler Ogle . She was a homemaker and a member of Providence United Methodist Church and a member and past president of the U.M.W. She was also a member of the Tugalo Art Guild. She is survived by her husband, Fred H. Edinger , of the home. The two were married June 9, 1946. The celebration of their 57th wedding anniversary was a most memorable occasion for the Edingers who were "soul mates", constant companions and the best of friends. Surviving children include Tommy E. Murphy, Lavonia; Judy E. Morrison and husband, G. Edward Morrison of Rex; and Lynda Faye Edinger of Lavonia. Six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren also survive. Mrs. Edinger was the last surviving member of her immediate family, the Ogle family. Funeral services will be held for Mrs. Edinger in Lavonia and in East Point. Services in Lavonia will be Friday, March 26, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. in the chapel of Hamby Funeral Home with the Reverends Jim Spooner and Fred Spencer officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 P.M. until the hour of service. Services in East Point will be Saturday, March 27, 2004 at 2:30 P.M. in the chapel of Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 P.M. until the hour of service. Interment will follow Saturday's service at Sherwood Memorial Park in Jonesboro. Immediately following services in Lavonia, the family will gather for fellowship with friends at Conway Fellowship Hall, Providence United Methodist Church, Shoal Creek Communnity, Lavonia. Flowers are optional. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720.
