She was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church and she was a teacher’s aid at Carpenter’s Elementary School. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Elise Free; Jeff and Burdell Whitehead; brother, Steve Cross; and brother in law, Rod Costner. Survivors include her husband, Randy Costner; children, Kaylee, Nick, and Abby Costner; father and step mother, John and Janice Free; mother and step father, Kathleen Whitehead and Les Hearon; brothers, Tony Cross and Jeff Cross; step sisters, Cheryl, Angelia, Kaylene, and Kayela, step brothers, Brian, Craig, Jason, and Brian; mother in law and step father in law, Gail and Bill Huffman; father in law, Harvey Costner; sister in law, Rhonda and husband, Eddie West; brother in law, Harvey and wife, Rene Costner, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and several very special friends. Funeral service will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Six Mile Baptist Church, Rev. Charles Murrell and Rev. Jeff Patton officiating. Graveside service and interment will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Chilhowee Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery “Red Top”. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Six Mile Baptist Church.
