Louise Jeffries Harper , 84, of Winston Salem, died January 7, 2008, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born Jan. 9, 1923, in Blount County, Tennessee to the late Fred Jeffries and Louise Dunlap Jeffries . Mrs. Harper lived most of her life in Winston Salem, NC. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Harper was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Harper ; brother, Milton Jeffries and sisters, Norma Jones and Ernestine Daniel. Survivors include her sons, Stephen Harper of San Francisco, CA, and Clark Harper of Winston Salem, NC; and a grandson, Nathan Harper Saunders of Cornelius, NC. She was a long-time member of Winston Salem Friends Meeting and attended the Maryville Friends Meeting over the last several years while she resided in Maryville with her sisters. The memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2008, at Winston Salem Friends Meeting with Pastor Judith Dancy officiating.
