CLARK , WILLIAM PAUL , SR. - age 94, of Jefferson City, passed away at 6 p.m., Tuesday evening, November 10, 1998, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Jefferson City, following a brief illness. Mr. Clark was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City, for more than 56 years and was a retired employee of the Tennessee Valley Authority after 42 years of service. He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and was preceded in death by: his wife, Gladys M. Clark ; and son-in-law, Robert G. Warren. Survivors include: his daughter, Gay Clark Warren of Knoxville; son and daughter-in-law, William Paul "Bill" Clark , Jr. and wife, Dottie of Ooltewah, Tenn.; grandsons and wives, Scott and Carolyn Warren of Strawberry Plains, Dr. Steven Paul and Jennifer Clark of Athens, Tenn., William Douglas and Jeanne Clark of Louisville, Colo.; great-grandsons, Bobby Warren of Strawberry Plains, and Paul Clark of Athens, Tenn. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday evening, November 12, 1998, from the Farrar Funeral Chapel in Jefferson City, with Reverend Carl Yarnell and Reverend Sonny Strange officiating. Family and friends will meet at 9:30 a.m., Friday morning, November 13, 1998, at Farrar Funeral Home and proceed to Jefferson Memorial Gardens for a 10 a.m., graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Jefferson City. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Thursday prior to services at Farrar Funeral Home, 411 W. Broadway Blvd., Jefferson City, TN 37760, ph. (423) 475-3892.
