Luttrell, Edna Louise Love (Pinky), age 86, of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. Edna was born May 23, 1925 in Mountain City, Tennessee. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Edna (Lou) graduated from Harrison Chilhowee Baptist Academy in 1943 and after graduation was employed by Robert Shaw Controls until her retirement in 1987. While at Robert Shaw "Pinky" formed many close and lasting friendships. Edna was preceded in death by parents, Geter and Mary Love; husband of 61 years, Claude Robert Luttrell; sisters, Opal Morrison, Irene Lovill and Virginia Fritts; brother, Geter Love. Edna is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Peggy and Alan Jenkins of Knoxville; grandchildren, Katie Jenkins Black and husband Shaun of Atlanta and Michael Jenkins and wife Emery of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Peyton Alan Black and Brady Michael Black of Atlanta; her loving nieces, Barbara Stewart of Elizabethton and Linda Pittman of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Juanita Cagle of Maryville and Sue Addis of Knoxville. The family wishes to express our deep appreciation to Fort Sanders Regional Hospital and Tennova Residential Hospice for the care, love and support provided to Edna and our family during this difficult time. The family will receive friends Monday, February 20, 2012 at Berry Funeral Home from 6-8 PM. Family and friends will meet Tuesday, February 21, 2012 for an 11 AM graveside service in Woodlawn Cemetery. Condolences may be offered at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
