Eddie Burton Sr. , age 42 , of Clinton passed away Saturday , February 6 , 2016 at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge . Eddie was born June 21, 1973 in Lake City, and has been a lifelong resident of Anderson County. Eddie 's hobbies included collecting Nascar memorabilia, working on computers, and spending time with friends and family. He was also a Denver Broncos football fan. Mr. Burton is preceded in death by his grandmother Ruth Burton . He is survived by a son Eddie Burton Jr. and wife Chasity of Powell, and his future grandchild due in March. He is also survived by his father Steve Burton and wife Mary of Wartburg; by his mother Wanda Adkins and fiancé Randy Flynn of Knoxville; by sister Tammy Burton and fiancé Danny Ray Webber of Knoxville, Denise Henry and boyfriend Donald Oneal of Andersonville; by a niece Ashley Wonders; by a step sister Kimberly Braden of Wartburg; and by a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 6 :00-8:00 p.m., at Premier Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, with the service immediately following at 8:00 p.m., with Pastor Joey Cagley officiating. Family and friends will gather on Friday, February 12, at 2:00 at Circle Cemetery in Briceville for graveside services.
