Misty Ann Johnson, age 36, from Vian passed away on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011. Misty was born May 29, 1975, to Claude Howard and Rose Ann Gates in Muskogee.
On June 27, 1993, Misty married Larry Johnson. Misty was a very outgoing and loving person. She could always light up a room upon her entrance. She loved hunting, cooking, reading, crafts, and most of all being a mother. Misty was an amazing daughter, mom, wife, sister, aunt and friend.
Misty is preceded in death by her father-in-law, George Johnson.
Misty leaves behind to cherish her memories, her parents, Claude Howard and Rose Ann Gates of Gore; her husband, Larry Johnson of Gore; two daughters, Shelby Elizabeth and Autumn Brooke (Mowgli) Johnson; mother-in-law, Helen Johnson of Gore; eight brothers, Tom Gates and wife, Nancy of Haltom City, Texas, Jim Gates and wife, Donna of Gore, Johnny Gates and wife, Pattie of Stilwell, Ron Gates and wife, Teresa of Gore, Mark Gates and wife, Dana of Gore, Tracy Gates of Gore, Forrest Gates and wife, Tonya of Gore, and William Gates and wife, Jill of Gore; four sisters, Nancy Teafatiller and husband, Calvin of Webbers Falls, Barbara James and husband, John of Gore, Terry Box and husband, Glen of Gore, and Angela Fults and husband, Cliff of Godley, Texas; friends, Shane Mannon, Larry Terrell, Danny Walker, Dan and Becky Carter, and many more; and Misty held at unique bond with family John and Jessie James and John Michael Gates.
A private family service will be held.
