She was born on January 11, 1945, at McGehee, a daughter of Herbert Jones of McGehee and the late Edith Yother Jones. She did clerical work at Williams Industrial and was member of McGehee Christian Center. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Trina Lampkin. Other survivors include her husband, Horace T. Lampkin; two sons, Steve Lampkin and Troy Lampkin, both of Arkansas City; two brothers, Doyle Jones of Fort Worth and Jody Jones of McGehee; two sisters, Grace Kelso and Pat Varner, both of Little Rock; and five grand-children. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Griffin Funeral Service at McGehee with the Rev. Darwin McDowell officiating. Burial will be in McGehee Cemetery.
