She passed away May 13, 2008 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 55 years. Vickie Lynn Towler was married to Wayne Spencer at Roady, Oklahoma on October 25, 1969. She lived in this area all of her life. Vickie enjoyed her job at Field's Pie Kitchen for the past 10 years. She was a member of Kingfisher 1st Southern Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, John Junior Towler ; and two sisters, Maryland Dale Towler and Virginia Kay Spence. Surviving family include her husband, Wayne Spencer of the home; and daughter, Terri Dawn Ashley of Pauls Valley; two grandchildren, Cory Dale Givens and Eric Wayne Givens; her mother, Marie Towler of Wynnewood; brothers and sisters: Donna Buckner of Wynnewood, John "Buddy" Towler of Wynnewood, Brenda Lea Towler Knight of Stratford, Debbie Towler of Wynnewood, Sandy Gower of Pauls Valley, Orville Towler of Wynnewood, Kathy Luckinbill of Pauls Valley, Robert Dale Towler of Wynnewood, and Karen Sue Towler of Wynnewood; and her best friends: Cindy Popejoy, Donna Bennett and Amy Pierce. The family of Vickie Lynn Spencer will receive friends for visitation on Wednesday evening from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home; otherwise from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Thursday morning. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Charles 'Tuffy' Wigley. Interment will be at New Home Cemetery near Loyal, Oklahoma (north of Kingfisher) at 2:30 p.m. under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
