Rontos passed away on October 12, 2006 at his home in Orting, Washington. "Pete", as some of us called him, was an engineer at the Boeing Company. He was preceded in death by his father, and is survived by his mother, Mellie Wilkes ; wife of 36 years, Patricia K. (Robinson) Rontos; children, Puella Lilo Ayala, and her husband, Dirk, and Panos Allen "Peter" Rantos, and his wife, Tanya Rantos; and five grandchildren, Jordan, Ryan, and Katie Ayala, and Joshua and Panos Jonathan "P.J." Rontos. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. A memorial service will be determined at a later date.
