He is survived by one son, Fredrick Ray III of Syracuse; three daughters, Janeka (Angelo) Coker of Syracuse, Alethia Hardin of Knoxville, TN and Angela (Brandon) Capers of Syracuse; one brother, Belvin Ray of Knoxville, TN ; and six sisters, all of Knoxville, TN , the late Shadon Ray , Marcella (Richard) Whitehead, Gloria Johnson, Angela (George) Ferguson, Loita Davis, and Reshunda Ray ; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of many dear relatives and friends. Calling hours will be Monday 10 a.m. to noon at Bell Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 29 West Castle St., with funeral services to follow at noon. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
