(May 11, 1945 - October 20, 2006) Frank D. Perry, age 61, of Newport, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 20, 2006 following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, James G. Perry and Anna V. Perry Smith; stepfather, Ivan Smith; and one brother, Glenn Mitchell Perry. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Perry; son and daughter-in-law, Frankie Darrell and Angela Perry; daughter, Elizabeth Ann “Sissy’ Gunter; two beautiful granddaughters, Paige Nicole Gunter and Emily La Shea Perry; brother and sister-in-law, John and Margie Perry; sister and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Ronnie Harnios; special friends, Robert Gunter and Mike Owens. He will also be missed by a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 23, 2006 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Mike Hensley and Rev. Larry Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Manes Funeral Home.
