Cynthia Jo DeSanto, age 61 of Sevierville, Tennessee, died peacefully in her home on Sunday, July 10, 2016. Cynthia was originally from Van Wert, Ohio and moved to Tennessee in 1974 to be with her big brother. She was of the Catholic faith and was retired from the retail industry.
Cynthia was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt who was devoted to her family.
She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Matthew DeSanto; brother, Kim Anthony DeSanto; aunts, Bette Koos and Patricia Kline; and uncle, David Walters.
She is survived by her son, Chaim Richard Chavarria and wife Brittany Elizabeth Chavarria, and Sam Lefkowitz; grandson, Cruz Michael Chavarria; mother, Shirley Grace DeSanto; sister-in-law, Yvonne DeSanto; niece, Ashley DeSanto; nephew, Anthony DeSanto; great-nephew, Gavin Anthony DeSanto and forever friend Amos Eslinger.
The family will receive friends 6-7 PM Tuesday, July 26, 2016 with memorial service to follow at 7 PM in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.atchleyfuneralhome.com
