  [S142] Newspaper Article, Door County Advocate (WI), 31 Oct 2012. Dorothy M. Pluff, 93, of Baileys Harbor, formerly of Ellison Bay passed on to Heaven on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012. She is survived by her beloved husband, Melvin Pluff, whom she married in 1986. Also surviving are her five children, Delores Brown, Forestville; Donald (Dorothy), Richard (Bev), Judith (Charles) Hass and Joanne (Stuart) Peterson, all of Ellison Bay. She also leaves 15 grandchildren, 26 great- grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Also stepchildren, Robert (Sharon) Pluff, Gerald (Kathy) Pluff, Eugene (Jane) Pluff and Darlene Simon. Dorothy is preceded in death by her 1st husband, Stanley Tesnow in 1958 and her 2nd husband, Donald Fairchild in 1984 and son-in-law, Robert Brown. Dorothy's greatest joy in recent years was visiting with family and friends, and bird-watching with Melvin. Funeral Services will be held at Shepherd of the Bay Church, Ellison Bay, Friday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10.
