Adam Christopher Baines , of Chattanooga, passed away at his residence Sunday afternoon, Aug. 28, 2005.
He grew up in Athens, Tenn., where he attended McMinn County High School. He also was a graduate of East Tennessee State University.
He was a member of Allen Memorial United Methodist Church in Athens and attended Cross Point Comm unity Church in Ringgold, Ga.
He was an avid Tennessee football fan.
Survivors include his wife, Leah H. Baines ; parents, mother and stepfather, Karen and David Perry, of Athens, Tenn; father and stepmother, Todd and Janice Baines , of Athens; brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Lynnette Baines , of Athens; grandparents, John and Louise Baines , of Sweetwater, Tenn., also Bud and Marie Sipe, of Athens; father and mother-in-law, Ron and Glenda Haggard, of Chattanooga; and several aunts; uncles and cousins.
Adam was loved and adored by all his nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 Wednesday morning in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Ron Tankersley officiating.
Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Athens, at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
