August 5, 1927 - December 9, 2017 Edna Ownby Hatcher, age 90 of Sevierville, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017. Mrs. Hatcher was a member of Valley View Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Lynn B. Hatcher; parents, Baus and Mittie Ownby; brothers and sister-in-law, Conley Ownby, Euel and Eloise Ownby; sisters and brothers-in-law, Stella and Charlie Clabo, Eva and James Pleas “J.P.” Myers, Mattie Pass; brothers-in-law, Avery Hatcher and Cecil Weatherholt; nephew, Rick Ownby. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Leilah Hatcher; grandchildren, Jasmine Hatcher Hardin and husband Scott, Nancy Hatcher Cherry and husband Nick, Lindsey and Megan Hatcher; great-grandchildren, Kahli N. Hardin, McClain Ownby Hardin, Campbell Suzanne Hardin, Henry Hatcher Cherry, Abigayle Lyn n Cherry, James Clyde Cherry; sisters, Agnes Hatcher and Doris Weatherholt; brother-in-law, Paul Pass and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 1:30-3:00 PM Sunday, December 17 with funeral service to follow at 3 PM at Valley View Baptist Church with Dr. Preston Joslin and Rev. Chris Pass officiating.
