DROVER, COLIN EDWARD - age 52 of Knoxville, passed away suddenly Monday, December 17, 2001 at home. He was a graduate of Father Flanagan's Boy's Town and immediately joined the US Navy and served in Vietnam. He was an employee of Superior Steel. Preceded in death by parents, Edward T. Drover and Berneda Story Binzen; grandmother, Alice Erickson; brother, Paul A. Drover; nephews, Jeff and George. Survivors: daughter, Merris Crimmins and husband, Kevin; granddaughter, Kaitlyn, all of Bolivar, Tenn.; brother, Charles Drover, Clifton Springs, NY; sisters, Anette Helton, Blaine, Tenn., Caroline Cogdill, Knoxville, Julia Gueafson, Mineral, Ill., Joan Woodhams, Shortsville, NY, Theresa Yehl, Washington, Ill., Georgina Tisdale, Lincoln, Ill., Jacqueline Binzen, Ill.; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Memorial graveside service 2 p.m. Friday at Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Lyons View Pike, with military honors provided by the Volunteer State Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a veteran's organization of the givers choice.
