She leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years, Harry Keener; daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Andrew Hollis; her two beloved granddaughters, Reagan and Andie; sisters, Frances Waters of Nokomis, FL and Dorothy Davis of White, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Harrison and Faye Spires of Greenback; sisters-in-law, Linda Spires of Marietta, GA, Mary Jo Spires of Friendsville, and Alice Sisk of Maryville. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Emma and Horace Spires of Greenback; brothers, Bill Spires of Marietta, GA, Jimmy Spires of Friendsville, and Horace Spires Jr (infant). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s online at stjude.org or by mail at 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, May 6, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home Cedar Chapel, Rev. Jeff Sisk officiating, with interment to follow at Oakland United Methodist Church Cemetery.
