JR. - age 80 of Maryville beloved husband, father, and Grandfather went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and was retired from Alcoa after 47 years of service. He is preceded in death by, Daughter, Teresa Sue Harris, Father, James D. Patty Sr. and Mother, Leola Patty , and Brother, Robert Patty . Survivors include: Wife of 61 years, Ruth Patty Daughter, Jeannie Jones of Rockford Son, Jimmy Patty of Cosby and Daughter, Cathy Cross of Maryville. Seven Grandsons and 2 Granddaughters and Eight Great Grandchildren. Brother, John Patty of Knoxville. Sisters, Dorothy P. Gibbs of Knoxville, and Betty Peery of Etowah. Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law Clifford and June Long of Maryville. Special cousin Barbara Whaley of Maryville and Several Nieces and Nephews. Family and Friends will assemble at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 31, 2002 at Mt Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery for Graveside Services and Interment with the Rev. Raymond Burnett Officiating. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
