She was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church and was a devoted wife and mother. She is preceded in death by: husband of 61 years, J. D. Patty Jr. daughter, Teresa Sue Patty Harris father, James Leatherwood mother, Bertha Mae Long Leatherwood sister, Christine Leatherwood Teffeteller. Survivors include: sister and brother-in-law, June & Clifford Long of Maryville daughter, Jeannie Jones of Rockford son and daughter-in-law, James & Darla Patty of Cosby daughter, Cathy Cross of Maryville seven grandsons two granddaughters eight great grandchildren. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Raymond Burnett officiating.
