Odis Melvin Huskey , 83, of Ooltewah, died Monday, March 5, 2001.
He was a native of Dalton, Ga., but had lived in the Chattanooga area all of his life.
Mr. Huskey retired from Franklin Processing after 33 years of service and then was employed by Radio and Appliance for 10 years.
He was a member of Edgewood Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his parents, Shird and Lorena Huskey .
Survivors include his wife, Helen J. Huskey ; son, Melvin Huskey of Chickamauga, Ga.; brother, Richard Huskey of Ooltewah; sisters, Gladys Powell of Juno Beach, Fla., and Printha Pettyjohn of Signal Mountain; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Champ Agan officiating.
Interment will be in National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to Edgewood Baptist Church, 2007 E. 27th St., Chattanooga, TN 37407.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home, East Brainerd Road.
