She was surrounded by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Huskey, and Virgil Gross, parents, Sam and Elizabeth Hurst, brothers, Ralph, Frank, and Harvey Hurst. Survivors: Children: Teri Brown-Binion, Greg Huskey, Tina Ross Honorary sons and daughter: Chad Ross, Gary Brown, Paul Binion, JoAnn Huskey Grandchildren: Tessa Humbard, Hannah and Collin Ross Brother: Bill Hurst Sisters: Oma Daniels, Mary LaFollette, Helen Matthews, Dicie McGill, Anita Hayslip The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful people who cared for our mother throughout her illness, including Dr. Gregory Lemense and his office staff, the nurses at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and Covenant Home Health and Hospice. Funeral service 2 PM Wednesday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Stidham, and Pastor Robert Settles officiating. Interment will follow in Underwood Cemetery.
