Oliver R. Huskey, 92, died Tuesday, May 2, 2000, at his home in Pittman Center.
His parents were John and Mary Ownby Huskey. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Eva L. Whaley, three brothers and three sisters.
As the oldest living member of Hills Creek Baptist Church, he had held many offices, including deacon, trustee, clerk, teacher, Sunday school superintendent and custodian.
Survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Annabel and Lon Cardwell, Faye and Glenn Cardwell; son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Judy Huskey; four granddaughters; four great-grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service is 7 p.m. Friday in the East Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with the Rev. Brian Huff, the Rev. Orville Parton and the Rev. Jim White officiating.
Interment is 10 a.m. Saturday in Hills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (Tudor).
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
