Mary Jane Woody, a resident of Morris, Okla., passed away on Oct. 3, 2008, in Sapulpa, Okla., at the age of 75. Born May 1, 1933, in Blount County to Hobart and Amy (Flinn) Flynn. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. She loved quilting, her family and God. Mary married Henry Woody on June 13, 1969, in Maryville. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Henry Woody; parents; five brothers; Baxter, Paul, Carl, Jack and Arvil Flynn; and two granddaughters, Amanda Catherine and Rachel Dawn. Survived by two daughters, Sunshine and husband Troy Rudlang of Morris, Okla. Connie and husband Ward Motes Jr. of Morris, Okla.; son: James Woody and wife Robin of Nashville; grandchildren, Nathan H. Woody and wife Jenny of Okmulgee, Okla.; Troy Rudlang II of Glenpool, Okla.; Heather of Glenpool, Okla., Sarah and Hannah Woody of Nashville, Stephen Motes and wife Alexis of Tulsa, Okla., Philip and Jesse Motes of Morris, Okla.; great-granddaughters, Nevaeh Motes and Adyson Woody; four brothers, Leon Flynn and wife Nadine of Tennessee, Wiley Flynn and wife Fern of Tennessee, Mayford Flynn of Tennessee, Clovis Flynn of Florida; two sisters, Maxine Davis and Sue and husband Harvey McGill of Tennessee; many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Memorials can be made to the Trinity Baptist Church Agape Bible Fund, P.O. Box 170, Morris, Okla. 74443. Family will receive friends at the Funeral home Monday Evening from 6-8 p.m. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008, at the Trinity Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, Okla. Services conducted by the Rogers Funeral Home.
