FLYNN, BAXTER - age 82, of Rockford, died at 4:25 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 1999, at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Central Point Baptist Church and a 60 year member of Rockford Lodge #469 F&AM, Cypress Commadery Pride Council, ALCOA'S 25 year club. Preceded in death by his wife, Lula Flynn; parents, J. Hobart and Zola Flynn; son, Lea Flynn; son-in-law, Roger Cox; granddaughter, Glenda Everhart ; and brother, Jack Flynn. Survivors include: daughters and sons-in-law, Clelda and Gleen Everhart of Louisiana, Velma and Davis Spradlin of Maryville; and daughter, Freida Cox of Walland; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Flynn of Rockford; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul and Lorena Flynn of Friendsville, Arvil and Julie Flynn of Maryville, Clovis and Louise Flynn of Florida, James Leon and Nadine Flynn of Maryville, Wiley and Fern Flynn of Walland, Carl and Lee Flynn of Rockford; brother, Mayford Flynn of Louisville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Jane and Henry Woody of Oklahoma, Sue and Harvey McGill of Rockford; sister, Maxine Davis of Walland. Masonic and funeral services 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 1999, at Central Point Baptist Church with Rev. Charles Ridner, Rev. Beecher Whitehead and Gleen Everhart officiating. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Central Point Cemetery or Building Fund. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 26, 1999, in the Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
