He was a member of Logan’s Chapel Methodist Church. Retired from ALCOA after 40 plus years and a member of the 25 year club. Preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Thelma Coppinger; sister, Barbara Vanatta. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Martha Coppinger; sons and daughters in law, Skip and Lisa Coppinger, David and Rita Coppinger and Scott Coppinger all of Maryville; grandchildren, Amanda Lane, Whitney Coppinger, Saber Harness, Amy Campbell, Ashley Coppinger, Matti Coppinger, and Sydni Coppinger; great grandchildren, Caleb, Wyatt and Lucy; sister in law, Betty Shaw; special caregiver, Marsha Moore and several special nieces and nephews.
