Alma Mary Lindsey, 80, of 11 West Baltimore Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, passed away Friday, December 1, 2006 at Washington County Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born January 30, 1926, in Sevier County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of the late James and Caroline Spurling Trentham. Four brothers, Charlie Trentham, Roy Trentham, Buford Trentham and J.H. Trentham, and six sisters, Alice Clabough, Becky Waycaster, Lena Trentham, Betty Bain, Beulah Myers, and Cleo Huskey preceded her in death.
She was self-employed for a number of years as a beautician.
She is survived by her:
Son and daughter-in-law: Danny R. and Vicki Moore of Hagerstown
Grandchildren: Danny Moore, Jr., Mary Moore, James Moore, Brittany Moore, and William Kline, all of Hagerstown, and Stephanie Hall of Maryville, Tennessee
Great-grandchildren: Ella Saunders of Hagerstown, Kalli Jo Hall, Trent Hall and Faith Hall, all of Maryville, Tennessee; and a special friend, Karey Lucas, of Hagerstown. Sisters: Evelyn and husband J.W. Finchum of Seymour, Tennessee; Olivia Reagan of Maryville, Tennessee; and Marie Broas of Sevierville, Tennessee
Several nieces and nephews whom she loved and held very dear
Funeral service 12 PM Wednesday in the Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Reverends Paul Hughes and James Pratt officiating. Music provided by Ms. Alma Stanifer, Ms. Virginia Daughtery and Ms. Vella Gray. Interment will follow in Hatcher Cemetery. Her nephews will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 10 AM- 12 PM Wednesday at Atchley Funeral Home, Sevierville. (www.atchleyfuneralhome.com)
