James Franklin Garrett, Sr., age 76 of Pigeon Forge, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006 at his home. Born November 10, 1929 in Burns City, Indiana, he moved to Sevier County around 1944. He was a member of First United Methodist Church, Pigeon Forge, a 32nd degree Mason a Shriner, and a part-time trolley driver in Pigeon Forge.
He was preceded in death by his father J.C. Garrett and mother Marie Swazye Garrett.

Sons: James Franklin Garrett, Jr. and wife Shirley, Rodrick Garrett and wife Peggy
Grandchildren: Andy Garrett, Steve Garrett, Kim Williams, Chip Garrett
Great-grandchildren: Cory, Chase, William, Jessie, Blake
Brother: Don Garrett and wife Betty
Sister: Jean Harder and husband Clarence

Funeral service 7 PM Monday in Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, Pigeon Forge with Elder Robert Mayhorn, Rev. Rod Garrett, and Rev. Keith Knight officiating. Interment 10:30 AM Tuesday in Smoky Mountain Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-7 PM Monday at Atchley’s Smoky Mountain Chapel, 220 Emert Street, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.
