She was a lifelong resident of Pigeon Forge. Mrs. Garrett was a member of First United Methodist Church of Pigeon Forge and attended New Midway Baptist Church in Kingston after moving there to be with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband James Franklin Garrett, Sr. and brothers Clyde and Ray Benson. Survivors: Sons: Jim Garrett and wife Shirley, Rod Garrett and wife Peggy Grandchildren: Andy Garrett and wife Carmon, Steve Garrett and wife Shannon, Kim Williams and husband Shane, Chip Garrett and wife Dawn Great grandchildren: Cory, Chase, William, Jesse, Blake, Tyler, Harley Sister-in-law: Jessica Benson In lieu of flowers donations may be made to New Midway Baptist Church (Children's Playground). 913 New Midway Road, Kingston, TN 37763 Funeral service 7:30 PM Friday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Ford and Rod Garrett officiating.
