Laura S. Lavery, 92, of Sevierville, TN passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, with loving family members at her side.
Laura is survived by her Daughter, Susan Cravens, of Sevierville, TN; her son, Don Lavery and his wife Genie, of Orlando, FL; Grandson, Frank Cravens and his wife Cindy, and their two children, Bryson and Brody; Grandson, William Cravens, Leslie Cravens, and their two children, Cody and Brandon. She also leaves behind her loving Niece, Phyllis Boyce, along with her son, Austin; and other family members.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pigeon Forge Care and Rehabilitation Center for the incredible care and compassion they provided for Laura during the several years she was under their care. The family would also like to thank Amedisys Hospice for the comfort they provided during her final days.
Laura will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her family hopes that all will remember her for the joy and happiness that she brought to their lives, and for the gentle and caring soul that she was.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday June 25, 2016, followed by refreshments in the fellowship hall at Roberts United Methodist Church, 1810 Jayell Rd., Sevierville, TN 37862.
