Survivors: Daughters and Sons-in-law: Aileen and Harmon McCarter, of Knoxville Ruth and Henry Parton, Wears Valley Grandchildren: David, Dennis, and Darrell Parton, Gatlinburg Dianne and John Kerr, Knoxville Barry and Debbie McCarter, Knoxville Jeff and Rachel McCarter, Johnson City Great Grandchildren: Nick and Derek Parton Jonathan, Robbie, and Jennifer Kerr Ryan, Curt, Kristen, Jacob and Caroline McCarter Many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Funeral service 7:30pm Tuesday in the West Chapel of Atchley Funeral Home with Rev. William McAlister officiating. Interment 10:30am Wednesday in Mattox Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
