Joyce Dunlap Smith, 63, of Pigeon Forge, passed away suddenly Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Joyce was an adventurous free spirit as a young lady. She lived in Wisconsin for several years and toured Canada with a band in which she sang and played the drums. She loved old fashioned country music, lighthouses, working with the public, and she was always greeting everyone with a friendly smile. Most of all, she loved her family and friends, Roger, Robin, Kathy, Lana, and her little dog, Dudley. Joyce touched many people's hearts and will be missed by all. Joyce was preceded in death by parents, William Arlie Dunlap and Norma Dunlap Morgan. Surviving family members include Billie Joe Price, Gene Bennett, William and Sandra Dunlap , Jr. Archie and Sandy Dunlap , Brenda and Dan Stevens, Judy Luttrell, and Lynn Morgan. A memorial celebration for Joyce will be announced at a later date. Memorial Funeral Home in Maryville is in charge of arrangements.
