April 19, 1938 - January 24, 2012 Edna Ruth Sellers age 73 of Maryville went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She lost her long and hard fought battle with cancer. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Edna avidly studied the bible and could quote soothing scripture for any situation. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, collecting antique glassware and gardening. Her most important priority in life was serving the Lord and taking care of her family. Her last few days were made special by Kim in CCU at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by: parents, Lacy & Sarah Jones; Brothers, James & Earnest Jones. Survivors include: Loving and Devoted Husband of 56 years, Edward "Ed" Sellers; Sons, Roger Sellers of Sevierville and Don Sellers & wife Selena of Greenback; Daughter & Son-in-law, Sandy & Gary Caughron; Grandchildren, Casey & Robby Moses of Friendsville, Amberly Sellers of Sevierville, Kristen & Kyle Carney of Jacksonville, NC, Gary Caughron II of Maryville, Nicole Lindsey of Greenback & Fiancé Mike Tarwater, and Travis Sellers of Maryville; 2 Great-Grandsons, Brandon Lindsey and Grayson Carney; 2 Great-Granddaughters, Madison Carney and Bailey Tarwater; Sister, Nellie Winkler of Alcoa; many nieces, nephews, and other family members; Special Pet, Barney.
