Survivors: wife, Anna Lewis Steel ; daughter, Barbara S. Graves and husband, Fred L. of Cumming, Ga.; son, John A. Steel and wife, Carolyn, of Marietta, Ga.; daughter, Mary Jane Klenske and husband, Ted, of Friendsville; son, James D. Steel and wife, Jane, of Knoxville, Tenn.; eight grandchildren, Maresa Bowen, Fred Lee Graves, Tracy Steel , Mark D. Steel , Diana L. Klenske, J. Funeral services are at 2 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 1998, in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Frank Snavely and Rev. Wendell Smith officiating. Entombment will follow the funeral service at Grandview Mausoleum. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, November 14, 1998, and from 1-2 p.m., Sunday, November 15, 1998, in the Trinity Chapel, Smith Mortuary, Maryville, 983-1000.
