Fred William Lewis was born April 12, 1926 in Jefferson County, TN. He passed away March 1, 2016. He is survived by his sister, Betty R. Jenkins of Valrico, Florida and by several nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Fred was preceded in death by his parents, George Mitchell and Annie Pearl West Lewis; brothers, Jack Lewis, John Lewis and sisters, Helen Stringwell and Lucile Steel. Fred was employed by ALCOA for 44 years and was a farmer in Greenback, TN. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the church of your choice. Funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016 at Miller Funeral Home Magnolia Chapel, Pastor Richard DeMerchant officiating. Interment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home, Maryville, (865) 982-6041, www.millerfuneralhome.org
