Anna Lucile Steel , age 88, of Maryville, died Friday, February 4, 2005, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Friendsville United Methodist Church and their United Methodist Women's Group. Preceded in death by: husband, John D. Steel ; daughter, JoAnn Steel ; parents, George M. Lewis and Annie P. Lewis; brothers, John Lewis Jr. and Jack Lewis; sisters, Helen Stringwell and Virginia Lewis; grandson, John Trenton Steel . Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, John A. and Carolyn Steel of Marietta, Ga., and Don and Jane Steel of Knoxville; daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Fred Graves of Cumming, Ga., and Mary Jane and Ted Klenske of Friendsville; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Fred W. Lewis of Greenback; sister, Betty Ruth Jenkins and husband Clyde of Valrico, Fla.; dear friend, Howard Hudson. The family would like to thank the caregivers at Alterra Sterling House and doctors and caregivers at Blount Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 5, 2005, in the East Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Darrell Rasnake and Rev. Wendell Smith officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 3:30 p.m., Sunday, February 6, 2005, at Grandview Mausoleum for the entombment.
