He was a retired sales representative. Preceded in death by parents, Henry Lee and Daisy E. Harben . Survivors include wife of 70 years, Helen G. Harben ; daughter, Patricia H. Davis and husband, Robert S. Davis; granddaughters, Donna D. Crisp and husband, Dennis of Lenoir, NC, Janet D. Broome and husband, Monte Broome of Knoxville; great granddaughters, Jenny and Caroline Broome; great grandson, John Broome; sisters, Mrs. Jewel Rule of Knoxville; brother, Doug Harben and wife, Ruth of Knoxville; niece, Mrs. Jeanne Luttrell.
