Vernie B. Dyke, age 94, of Bybee, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was a member of Fowler’s Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley Dyke; and parents, Louis and Mollie Buckner. She is survived by her son, Charles (Dottie) Dyke of Bybee; daughter, Janette Murr of Newport; grandchildren, Randy Dyke and Michelle (Jeff) Atkins; great-grandchildren, Ashely Allen, April Turner, Jimmy Turner, and Allie Dyke; great-great grandchild, Emma Allen; and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Union Cemetery with Rev. Bill Thompson officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm-1:30 pm on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Manes Funeral Home. Family and friends may sign the guest register online at www.manesfuneralhome.com.
