Mrs. Jennifer Marie Black , age 29 , of Hartford , went to be with her Lord on Friday , April 15 , 2016 .
She was preceded in death by her brother Samuel Matthew Jenkins, grandparents Sam and Edna Jenkins and M.B. and Allene Foley, and uncles Darius Jenkins, Phillip Foley, and Matthew Foley.
She is survived by her loving husband Thomas Black and beautiful children Cydni, Emma, and Noah Black , all of the home, parents Dean and Lisa Jenkins of Del Rio, brothers Daniel ( April ) Jenkins of Marshall, NC, Allen Jenkins, and David Jenkins, all of Del Rio, special cousin Alisha (Burnett) Williams of Parrottsville, mother-in-law and father-in-law Tilman and Susan Black of Hartford , brother-in-law Samuel (Courtney) Black of Strawberry Plains, and sister-in-law Cynthia (Dustin) Davis of Hartford . Additional survivors include several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral will be held at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in the Costner-Maloy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Sutton and Buddy McGaha officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Black Family Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. interment.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Costner-Maloy Funeral Home prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Costner-Maloy Funeral Home to help cover the final expenses.
