Sanders Hospital. Jim was well known for being a mechanic. Preceded in death by his father, Ronel Hill; step-son, Mike Bowman; father and mother-in-law, J. Willard and Jeanette Cannon. He is survived by wife of 38 years Pam Hill; sons, David (Norma) Hill, Danny Hill, Darryl (Jessica) Hill of Indiana, Christopher “Buddy” (Efonda) Hill of Maryville; step-son, Brent Bowman of Maryville; daughter, Deborah Hill of Illinois; mother, Mary Hill of Maryville; special granddaughter, Brittany Bowman, that he raised as his own daughter; 9 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of great friends. Funeral service will be Saturday February 20, 2016 at 6:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home Rev. Charles Huskey and Rev. James Atkins officiating. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM till 6:00 PM Saturday February 20, 2016. Graveside interment service will be Sunday February 21, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Four Mile Baptist Cemetery.
