Died: April 27, 2015
Terry L. Manuel , 68, of Greeneville, passed away Monday at Laughlin Memorial Hospital following a brief illness.
He was the son of the late Kenneth and Ruth Manuel .
Terry was employed for 37 years at Donaldson Filtration Corp. until his passing.
He was a member of Tate Chapel United Methodist Church.
Terry was a loving father and grandfather.
He was passionate about several things: fishing, traveling, the Pittsburg Steelers and the Tuesday Night Man's Club.
Terry shared a special relationship with Faith Crum of Greeneville.
He is survived by a former wife: Priscilla Ray, who is the mother of Lt. Cmdr. Walter Felix (Angelia) Manuel ; a former wife: Pearl Luvene, who is the mother of Juan (Deanna) Luvene and Patrick Luvene; and Brandon Manuel and Terrance Manuel , children of a former wife, the late Tina McMillan.
Terry is also survived by three grandchildren: Isaiah Manuel and Mauriel and Alexandria Rodriguez; honorary grandchildren: Alexis and Olivia Russell; his brother: Larry (Katherine) Manuel ; two sisters: Maria RuthAnn Manuel and Rosemary (Charles) Swagerty; five nieces: Tessa (Derrick) Woods, Shandi (Jonathan) Hill, Enid (Anthony) Derricott, Monique Swagerty-Townsley and Alyssa Swagerty; four nephews: Larry (Michelle) Manuel Jr., Ian Mayfield, Darryl (Ashley) Swagerty and Darren Swagerty; and great-nieces and great-nephews: Makayla and Jordan Woods, Asialyn, Trace, Trenton, Gage, Selah and Teagan Manuel , Nickelette Long, Jania Hill, Aiden and Adrien Derricott, Braden Balman, Tavyan Swagerty, Liam Purcell and Landen Willis.
He enjoyed the company of William Barner, Rick Richmond, Calvin Barner, (Uncle) Walter Curtis, Charles Ford, Joe Miller, a host of family and church members, and many special friends.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday and from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held at noon Saturday in the Kiser-Rose Hill Chapel with Elder William Pace officiating.
Interment will follow in GreeneLawn Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Derrick Woods, Jonathan Hill, Heath Willis, Calvin Barner, William Barner, Rick Richmond, Rick Hensley and Walter Rogers.
Honorary pallbearers will be the ICU staff of Laughlin Memorial Hospital, Dr. Felix Fernandez, and the crew of Long John Silver's.
