Ruth Frazier, age 61, or Newport passed away, Sunday, November 29, 2009. She was a faithful member of Unity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Amos and Ora Lee Cody; sisters, Gertrude and Bobbie Joe; brothers, Robert, Ernest and Buford. She is survived by her husband Lacy Frazier, of Newport; children, Jackie Cody, Newport, Rickey Frazier, Ohio, Tammy Belda and husband Glenn of Newport, Beverley and Andrew Wells, SC, Vicki Frazier and Paula Frazier both of Ohio; brothers, Orville Cody, Virgil Cody and Jerry Bowlin; sisters, Margaret Stanley; grandchildren, Victoria, Christopher, Sarah, Caleb, and Aaron Wells, Nathan Talley, Serena Talley, Sheena Bryant, Shan Bryant; great-grandchildren, Daeson Talley, Aylan McSwain, Destiny McSwain; and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 1, 2009 in Manes Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bill Ball and Rev. Andy Wells officiating. Burial be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, December 2, 2009 in Union Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Manes Funeral Home prior to the service.
